Constructed from 1,374 pieces the model faithfully reproduces the details of this incredible aircraft, which was an elusive reconnaissance jet serving in the United States Air Force from the 1960s to the 1990s.
With a maximum speed exceeding Mach 3 and an operational altitude of up to 26 km, the SR-71 was one of the fastest and most difficult aircraft to shoot down in the world.
